Zamil's mother confronts Zaryab and shames her for the time she spent with Zamil before any nikah. It tips Zaryab into another severe panic attack.
Abu Bakar arrives, sees what is happening and stays calm. Without making a scene, he helps her breathe and slowly brings her back. Afterwards Zaryab tells him she wants to marry him, calling him a deeply pious man.
The storyline split viewers. Many were moved by the scene, while others objected to the idea of a man arriving as the cure for a woman's pain. Durefishan Saleem later said the story should not be read as a lesson in how women should heal.
